What is economics?

Economics is the study of how individuals, businesses, governments, and societies make choices about how to allocate scarce resources to satisfy their unlimited wants and needs.

It examines how people interact with one another and with markets to achieve their goals, focusing on the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services.

Essentially, economics helps us understand how decisions are made and how they affect the allocation of resources, efficiency, and equity in society.
